Who needs tax relief?
¨ The homesteader who bought recently.
¨ The First time home buyer (young family, teacher, police officer and average worker) who can’t
buy their first home due to high taxes.
¨ The homesteader who can’t
move because they are trapped in their older house.
¨ The “Snowbird” Non-homesteader
who lives in Florida a few months a year but could spend their money elsewhere where taxes are lower.
¨ The Business owner Non-homesteader who can’t
move to a bigger property and grow their business
¨ Consumers who pay higher prices with the Business owner Non-homesteaders must pass their high property taxes on to them.
¨ The Small-time landlord (Non-homesteader) who owns one or a
few rental properties to supplement their income to get a better life for them and their families.
¨ Renters who suffer higher rents from all landlords (big and small) who must pass on their Non-homestead property taxes to stay in business.

The real estate market that can’t move
homes and the realtor facing lower income.

2. Who needs more money?

The local government with twice the income
in 6 years or the average worker
who barely raised their income with inflation?
¨ The city and county and state that gives away $5 million a properties and $25 Million
to $ Billion corporations or the
police officer that needs to move out of state to feed their family?

The county and cities that will collect $2
billion dollars in local option sales tax in ten years OR the
average joe that pays these taxes?
¨ The city that will give $2 million to the Devil Rays this year OR the family that can’t afford to send their kid to a little league baseball summer camp
this year?
¨ The city that gave away $33.8 Million in Taxpayer subsidies to “self-sustaining”
operations OR the taxpayer who writes the check?
¨ The city that unwisely guaranteed tens of millions in pensions to government workers and can’t
afford it OR the average worker who had to invest wisely for
a lifetime to retire.
¨ The government that provides nearly free health insurance to FAMILY MEMBERS of public
worker OR the hard worker who must pay for all of his/her families
health insurance themselves?
¨ Your local politicians who will spend any amount of your money to get reelected OR YOU?
IT IS UP TO YOU. YOU DECIDE.
If you
think the government needs more money, write them a big check and ask for higher taxes.
If you think they have
more than enough, then DO SOMETHING besides complain.
3. WHO DO YOU GET TAX RELIEF?
Go to your local budget meeting – every one – and demand lower spending
and lower taxes!
