Tax growth in Florida Counties 2001-2006

Florida Property Taxes Have grown out of control since 2000.  While inflation has grown only about 14%, from 2001-2006, Florida Property Taxes have grown about 83%.  The population has grown at only 12%.  Personal income growth over that time has been at 37%, less than half the increase in property tax collections.  Floridians can take no more.

Cut Taxes Now has analyzed the county by county breakdown of tax increases, compared to the increase in population and inflation from 2001-2006.  Data was taken from sources avaliable in from the State of Florida, Florida Association of Counties and U.S. Census bureau.

How does your county stack up?  Find out below and remember - join Cut Taxes Now so we can keep working to expose the out of control spending and runaway taxes of our local governments.
